Photoshop Cant Save As Png

I've never had this before, but photoshop won't allow me to 'save as' on images. I have reset photoshop, but it doesn't help. Anyone know what to do? Cheers, Nick

The current image, for example, is 8bit and rgb colour, and won't 'save as'. Nick

The 'save as' is black, not greyed out

no, as soon as i click the 'save as' it freezes, and to unfreeze it i click on a tool and it unfreezes. Its weird !lol

i reckon i may need to reinstall the program, but I have to get the images to a model in the morning and I have been pulling my hair out all night.

Reinstalling should not take that long, though it is frustrating if you have been working on the images a lot and cant save them. :( If things get to hectic I can develop them for you if you need. Hope you can fix the problem.

Try: Select all [ctrl A] New window [ctrl N] [Enter] Paste [Ctrl V] Flatten Save [ctrl S] The save dialogue box will appear - assuming you have the image in RGB and 8 bit. you should be able to 'Save as' and choose the file type.
